Andrea Steidl graduated from Politecnico di Milano with a degree in Industrial Design and began his career immediately at Patricia Urquiola’s studio. He went on to become a Creative Manager and remained with the firm until 2016. He was responsible for the Design and Product areas and oversaw limited editions, temporary installations, site-specific projects and interior design for a range of clients. At the same time, in academic circles he started working both as an assistant professor at the Politecnico di Milano and as a course supervisor at Domus Academy and Scuola Politecnica di Design.

Isabel Ahm is a Copenhagen-based independent furniture and product designer. In Isabel Ahm’s studio, new furniture categories emerge alongside beautiful and useful objects as a result of her continued investigations for excellence. She works with developing beautiful and useful objects that last, for everyday life. Isabel is a child of the Danish design tradition, she believes that quality, functionality and poetry are equally important ingredients in her work.

Zoran Jedrejcic is an industrial designer from Split with Italian background. After seven years of fruitful cooperation with Ettore Sottsass he opened his own design studio in Milan and recently one in Belgrade. He has designed for many world brands 3M, Dada Cucine, Fratelli Guzzini, Molteni&C, Nambe', Segis, and others. He has won almost all design awards, and his works have been exhibited in famous museums like MAK Wien, ICA Boston, MoMA NY, Ozone Centre Tokyo, etc.

Ado Avdagic, Born in 1970 in Tuzla, the founder of the studio ‘Avado’, designs furniture and interiors focusing on the creation of organic shapes. Through his works he contemplates about the relationship between a man, nature and form in space, and he designs functional, ergonomic and aesthetically convincing solutions. He has exhibited at international fairs too.

Salih Teskeredzic obtained the BA at the Architectural Faculty in Sarajevo 1987, and MA in Product Design, at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo 2003.Univesity professor Salih Teskeredzic teaches Industrial design since 2004, and since 2006 he is a Head of Product Design Department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo, and visiting professor at the Polytechnic faculty in Bihac and Civil Engineering Faculty in Sarajevo. In year 2000 he founds his first design and architecture studio in Vienna, and in 2007 he founds AD ARTE studio in Sarajevo. The main scope of the studios work in dedicated to product design, interior design and architecture. His works have been produced in several European countries: Austria, Denmark, Italy and Germany, as well as Bosnia and Herzegovina. He exhibited on several fairs including Milan, Cologne, Paris, Copenhagen, Vienna, Ulm, Zagreb, Belgrade, Sarajevo, as well as on the solo exhibitions: Design+Architektur in Vienna in 1999, Sarajevo 1997 and 2001.

Rainer Bachschmid was born in the south of Germany at the lake Constance. Among training as a cabinetmaker he studied Industrial Design at the University of Wuppertal. After graduation in 1994 he collaborated with some designers like Babel Design and Moll Design. Following Rainer Bachschmid moved to Switzerland. He worked within 10 years as the head of development and design for the furniture factory Reinhard AG. Since 2006 he works under his own design studio rabadesign in Switzerland.

Founded in ’13, Simon Morasi Pipercic is a Zagreb-based design office that works on various projects ranging from furniture and spatial design to site-specific installations, art direction, and design consultancy. The distinctive identity of the studio lies in the intercultural space between elitism and egalitarianism, exclusivity and inclusiveness, avant-garde experiments and highly marketable products, which has helped the team to successfully build a specific position easily recognisable in the global professional context. The office has been granted with some of the most highly considered awards - German Design Award in 2017, Red Dot in ’13 and ’15 and Interior Innovation award in ’15. In ’14, they were a part of the team that designed Croatian pavilion at the Venice architecture biennale. Their work was published in several renowned magazines (Dezeen, Domus, Frame, Designboom etc.) and exhibited worldwide.

Instead of products, we create ”pieces”, crafted with great care for the users as well the environment. We are passionate about working with the warmth of solid wood, especially oak and walnut, and attach great importance to sustainable raw materials. Our goal is to create timeless pieces, drawing inspiration from the most prominent periods in furniture design, and an eye for everchanging contemporary aesthetic. Dragan Radic is our design lead.

Art direction
/ àr o/ is an independent creative consultancy studio based in Milan. Founded in 2016 by Andrea Steidl and Raquel Pacchini, the studio works closely with various companies, which the commons scope is a creative research on products, from furniture to materials. Thanks to a creative process, based on strategic research, the studio convert client’s ideas and inspirations in a system of projects, or in a single object, in order to create an unique vision of the brand. / àr o/ Studio focus on creative direction, product design projects and visual communication. Raquel Pacchini is a Brazilian designer that lives and works in Milan. She graduated from Cesulon University in Londrina – Brazil in 2003, and moved to Montreal in 2004 where she did a master in interior design. In 2007 she moved to Milan, where she worked at Patricia Urquiola Studio as an interior- and product designer until 2014. Together with designer Andrea Steidl she founded studio /àr-o/ in 2016, where she has been working on architectural, graphic and design projects ever since.
